Events Benefiting the TREE Fund

We are ever thankful for the wonderful companies and organizations that coordinate a number of annual fundraising events to benefit the TREE Fund. Traditionally held during major industry conferences, the following is a brief chronology of these fabulous FUNdraising activities.

Asplundh’s Annual Summer Golf Outing          Registration/sponsorship form here

to benefit the TREE Fund

Since 1995, the Asplundh Tree Expert Co. has organized this annual event to coincide with the International Society of Arboriculture’s Annual Conference.  Held in a different city each year, golfers register to participate in this fun-filled scramble format outing that includes transportation, greens fees, golf cart, breakfast, beverages, awards reception and prizes. First and second place teams win prizes, as well as individuals for closest to the pin, longest drive and other fun competitions.  Hole sponsorships are available. All proceeds from the golf outing benefit the TREE Fund and its programs.

RakeMaster Challenge
Presented by the Society of Commercial Arboriculture, the RakeMaster Challenge fundraiser takes place during the International Tree Climbing Championship at the Annual ISA Conference and Trade Show. The proceeds from the event go to the TREE Fund’s Safe Arborist Fund. The purpose of the Safe Arborist Fund is to provide research grants in support of the training, techniques and equipment that arborists use in climbing, rigging and working on trees, as well as the means of identifying potential hazards in order to provide a safer working environment.

Bandit Chipper Auction
Bandit Industries auctions a chipper annually at the Tree Care Industry Expo. Silent bids are taken at Bandit’s display booth on the EXPO Trade Show Floor until noontime on Saturday. Then the excitement begins as the oral bidding commences. The winning bidder gets a great chipper and the TREE Fund gets the proceeds of the auction to support its work in advancing knowledge in arboriculture and urban forestry.
