Safe Arborist Techniques Fund

Working in trees can be extremely dangerous and hundreds of tree care workers are killed or seriously injured each year. The community must do whatever it can to ensure the safety of the workforce. More research is necessary in the fields of recognition and identification of potential hazards. In addition, more effective ways to educate workers on how to identify potential hazards and to minimize risk while working in dangerous situations need to be developed.

The purpose of the Safe Arborist Techniques Fund is to support research focusing on the development and training of techniques and equipment used in climbing, rigging and working on trees in order to provide a safer working environment for tree care professionals.

Please donate to the Safe Arborist Techniques Fund.

TREE Fund Volunteer of the Year Award

Nominate an outstanding volunteer before June 30!

"The TREE fund makes it happen. I was awarded the Robert Felix Memorial Award and it has been one of the main reasons that I will be beginning my career in the arboricultural industry. Oh, and it can really help knock those loans down, too. I am honored to have been given an award that is named for the former executive VP of TCIA, Robert Felix. Thanks again!" - Frank Grano, Bartlett Tree Experts
