Trees provide countless benefits to our communities. However, these benefits are realized only when trees are established and mature. Because trees are such long-lived organisms, meaningful tree research takes time. Endowed funds ensure that such research projects have a source of stable, ongoing financial support to produce scientifically rigorous results.
